A patio turns green so gradually that you stop seeing it. Then one wet morning it's a skating rink. We're based in Reigate and handle patio cleaning across Surrey, driveway cleaning all over London, and paths and decking anywhere in the Home Counties. The moss, algae and built-up grime come off, and the surface underneath usually looks better than you remember.

What we won't touch
- Crumbling or loose pointing: high pressure blasts it straight out
- Flaking paint, peeling sealant and surfaces already coming apart
- Soft or rotten decking boards
- Anything your photos show would take more damage than the moss
If your photos show a surface that won't take high pressure, we'll tell you before anyone turns up, and suggest a gentler way to smarten it up. Honesty up front beats an awkward conversation over a ruined patio.
The best time of year to jet wash a patio
Any month works, honestly. But a spring clean gets the patio ready for the summer it'll actually be used, and an autumn one shifts the film of algae that makes paths slippery just as the frosts arrive. Shaded, damp patios go green fastest, north-facing corners especially, so they may want cleaning more often than a sunny drive that mostly keeps itself respectable.

The team cleans it
Booked with at least 24 hours' notice, like all our cleaning. On bigger jobs a deposit holds the date. The team brings the kit, and it helps if there's an outside tap they can use.
You check it over
Pay by card, bank transfer or cash. Not happy? Tell us within 24 hours and we'll put it right.
What it costs
From £150 for a small patio or path. Beyond that the price follows the size of the area, how thick the moss and algae are, and whether you'd like block paving re-sanded after. Pace it out, count it in car lengths, take a couple of photos and send them over: that's enough for a firm price, with no VAT added. And if the patio's buried under furniture and plant pots, our garden clearance team can empty it first.

How much does patio or driveway cleaning cost?
From £150 for a small patio or path. The price follows the size of the area and how much growth is on it. Pace it out, take a couple of photos and send them over: we price most jobs from those.
Will pressure washing damage my patio?
Not if the surface is sound. High pressure strips out crumbling pointing and flaking surfaces, so we check your photos first and tell you straight if yours isn't suitable. We'd rather turn down a job than wreck your patio.
Do you re-sand block paving?
Yes, as an optional extra after the clean. Washing block paving lifts sand out of the joints, and re-sanding keeps the blocks firm and slows the weeds down. Just ask when you get in touch.
Do you clean decking?
Yes, at a lower pressure than stone or concrete so the timber isn't torn up. If boards are soft or rotten we'll say so rather than make them worse.
How much notice do you need?
At least 24 hours, like all our cleaning, so we can get the right person there with the right kit. Tell us your timing and we'll fit around it.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as the team can reach the area, and it helps if there's an outside tap. Plenty of people leave the side gate open and get photos when it's done.
Will the moss come back?
In time, yes: nothing stops moss for good, and anyone who promises that is selling something. Shaded, damp patios green up fastest. A clean every year or two keeps most patios and drives looking right.
