Privacy policy
The short version: we collect what we need to quote and book your job, we don't sell it, we don't set cookies, and you can ask us to delete it whenever you like.

What we collect and why
When you fill in the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email, the area the job is in, what you've told us about the job and any photos you attach. We use it to price the job, answer your questions and book you in. That's it.
If you apply to join the team, we collect what you put in the application form: your name, contact details, the area you work in, the kind of work you do and what you tell us about your experience. We use it to decide whether to get in touch about work.
If you call, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we'll have whatever you send us, and we'll use it the same way.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and arrive in our email inbox, which runs on Microsoft 365. Photos you attach come along with them. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp. None of these companies use your details for anything of their own on our behalf, and we don't pass your details to anyone else, apart from the cleaner, gardener or clearance team doing your job, who gets your name, address and what they need to do the work.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to the site. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across the web and doesn't identify you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and quotes: up to two years, so we have the history if you come back. Booking and payment records: six years, because tax law says so. Job applications we don't take forward: six months.
Cookies
We don't set any. That's why there's no cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email info@a1cleanandclear.co.uk and we'll sort it, normally within a few days and always within a month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
