Gardens don't get overgrown overnight. A busy year, a house standing empty, a garden that was always bigger than the time you had for it, and suddenly the brambles are in charge. Garden clearance is what we do all over Surrey, London and the Home Counties: we cut it back, clear it out and leave it tidy, so you get your garden back without giving up a month of weekends.
Who it's for
Anyone whose garden has got past the fun stage. Landlords and agents with a jungle behind an empty rental. Families getting a house ready to sell. New owners who've inherited someone else's brambles. If it's wilder out there than you'd like, that's us.
What's included
- Overgrown lawns, borders and brambles cut back and cleared
- Sheds and fence panels taken down and cleared
- Green waste: cuttings, branches, leaves and years of build-up
- Patios cleared of furniture, pots and debris
- Soil and rubble, by arrangement
- A rake and sweep through at the end, so it's left tidy
What we can't take
- Asbestos, including the old grey corrugated roofs on some sheds and garages
- Gas bottles and pressurised cylinders
- Chemicals, like weedkiller, fuel and old paint
A word on shed roofs. If yours is the old grey corrugated cement sort, there's a fair chance it's asbestos. That's nothing to feel bad about, thousands of sheds were built that way, but it needs a specialist rather than us. Send a photo and we'll tell you straight what we can do and who to ask about the rest.
How it works
Send us photos of the garden
Stand at the back door and take a few, plus a close-up of anything big, like a shed. WhatsApp or the form, whichever's easier.
We give you a price
Most gardens are priced from photos. For a big one we may come and look first, then send a written quote.
The team cuts back and clears
On bigger jobs a deposit holds the date. The team brings the tools, cuts everything back and clears as they go.
You check it over
You get a tidy garden, raked and swept. Pay by card, bank transfer or cash. Not happy? Tell us within 24 hours and we'll put it right.
What garden clearance costs in Surrey
From £120 for a small tidy-up and clear. Beyond that, the price follows how overgrown it is, how much has to go and how we reach it: a side gate makes life easier than carrying everything through the house. Sheds and fence panels coming down add a bit, and soil or rubble is priced separately by arrangement. Photos get you a firm price, and there's no VAT to add. If the patio underneath deserves better, we can pressure wash it in the same booking, from £150.

Garden clearance questions
How quickly can you clear a garden?
Often the same or next day for smaller jobs. A big, badly overgrown garden takes a little more arranging, but it's days, not weeks.
Do I need to be there?
No, as long as the team can get in. An unlocked side gate on the day, or a key with a neighbour, works fine. We'll send you photos when we're done.
Can you take down a shed?
Yes, sheds and fence panels coming down are part of the job. One check first: if the roof is the old grey corrugated cement sort, it could be asbestos, and that needs a specialist. Send a photo and we'll tell you straight.
Can you take soil and rubble?
By arrangement, yes. Both are heavy, so they're priced separately. Tell us up front, with a photo of the pile if you can, and we'll include it in the quote.
Will you clear the patio too?
Yes. Furniture, pots, debris, the lot. Once it's clear we can pressure wash it in the same booking, from £150, so the whole garden comes back in one visit.
How overgrown is too overgrown?
There isn't one. Brambles over head height and a path you can't find are fine. The worse it looks, the more useful your photos are, so don't be shy about sending them.
Do you take a deposit?
On bigger garden clearances, yes, to hold the date. The rest is due when the job's done and you've had a look.
